I like the arps at the beginning, clap is very overpowering though. Same with the synth that comes in around 0:50. Def needs better gain staging.
Really like the piano arps after. I feel like the buildup could be more interesting.
Drop: I feel like this was in a different key. Might be the chord expression, but yeah. Also, that one synth from earlier is still too loud here. I wish that your sound design had a bit more variation too.
Buildup 2: same with the previous buildup wish there was more elements to it.
Drop2: I like the variation in sound design here from drop 1, aforementioned synth is still too loud. I wish the percussion/drums were more interesting here too.
Buildup3: I like this buildup more.
Drop3: My favorite of them all. Sound design was good here, wish the supersaw was more beefy, kind of sounds like a pad.
Not much of an outro, wish there was more to that.
Overall pretty good, still have some stuff to work out though. I feel like the drums need more beef. That might be a sidechain thing, but I would still add more saturation.
Keep at it. Love colour bass.

I'll post my review here.
Intro: needs ambiance and pads, maybe shorten it. feels drawn out a bit. I like the piano, feels housey
No real buildup, so I would probably work on that
Kinda wish the drops had more variation, just feels like the same idea laid out previously but with more drums.
Overall I would work on having more movement/change over time. I feel like the idea with the piano arps in the 3rd drop could have been in the first, with the other two variating on the previous ideas in a more sonically interesting way.
Outro: like the intro would benefit from atmos or ambiance of some sort so it's not just raw piano.
Mixing: overall I feel like it was undercompressed. Feels like it wasn't really EQ'd but not a lot of instruments were covered up by each other to begin with so it's alr. The exception was the arps in drop 3. Gain staging was kinda off, with the drums being a bit too loud comparatively.

Overall has solid potential, keep at it.

damn, that was very detailed. thanks for the feedback on it, i’ll try to use those ideas in my future tracks

This sounds pretty good, but you have some things I believe you should work on to improve musically :]

I'll start with less technical things first.
I really wish you had more things taking up space in the background. There are several parts where the newest element added to the track gets somewhat boring, and I feel it would be better if you had background ambiance/ear candy throughout. I also wish that there was more change over time in the instruments themselves as they seem fairly static.

On to technical things.
I feel like your track would be more full if things were compressed and gain staged better. For this style of music you generally want a fairly small dynamic range and crest value. Your waveform looks and sounds very spiky, which tells me that you need more compression or maybe clipping if you feel :]

Keep up the good work.

Thanks for listen and insightful review :]

Love both of these. Big fan of breakcore. Such a vibe.

Don't forget to tag this as music-secret-santa-2023 :]

Solid, as always.

Really wish it was longer, but I get that people have short attention spans nowadays lol

I like the color stabs :]
